WALK FOR MENTAL HEALTH. WALK TO SUPPORT A LOVED ONE. WALK TO HONOR A LIFE LOST TOO SOON.
Join us for our 15th Annual There is Hope Walk
This powerful event not only supports those who have experienced the real and tragic loss of a loved one to suicide but also brings our community together in making a difference around suicide awareness. It is also an opportunity for those who face or have faced mental health struggles to support one another and feel the support from our community. All funds raised support our programming efforts around mental health and suicide prevention in Sheboygan County.
This year, let's bring HOPE to the streets!
Due to recommendations from Public Health regarding large gatherings, There is Hope will look a little different this year. While the walk will not be the same event that would normally bring us together along the beautiful Sheboygan lakefront, we are excited for the opportunity to spread hope throughout the county and beyond - reaching even more people.
Join us online on September 12th for a virtual opening ceremony at 9:30 am celebrating the 15th anniversary of the walk. At 10 am, we invite you to *walk safely in the location and distance of your choice while wearing your 2020 There is Hope t-shirt. *PLEASE FOLLOW SHEBOYGAN COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH COVID-19 SOCIAL DISTANCING & MASK GUIDELINES
While we are saddened that our event will look different this year, our important message of remembering, honoring, and saving lives remains the same.
We look forward to having you join us in spreading HOPE in 2020!
Despite this year looking much different than our years past, we are excited to be able to reach people, potentially even more, by taking some of our events online and offering fun contests along the way. Our 15th Anniversary Opening Ceremony will have a There is Hope remembrance presentation where your loved one could be honored. Please see details below of how you would like to participate in our event this year keeping our community's overall health in mind.
